I have some incredible news to share with you, my lovelies. Birch & Bunny Weddings and Events has been selected as a FINALIST in the category of BEST WEDDING OVER $25,000 for the WPIC Wedding Awards! How bleeping amazing is that?!

Last year we won for the category Best Wedding Under $25,000 and we’re still in a bit of a daze over that to be honest. I know that the competition is fierce though, and this is an INTERNATIONAL award, so let me just turn into a total clique by saying it’s an honour just to be a finalist. Ok, brag over, I’m done tooting my own horn. haha!

Janie started by teaching us the names of all of the beautiful flowers we will be adding to our peony arrangements, and giving us some guidelines on how to create our beautiful arrangements, here we are listening intently.
(Side Note: I just realized that my #OOTD was a floral top, PLUS my jacket with floral embroidery- I wonder what was on my mind that day…)

All-in-One Printer Review

Hello darlings! I just got a fabulous new wireless All-in-One Printer and I wanted to share my thoughts with you. I know that most of you are Brides-to-be, but this review is for small business owners like myself, and wedding industry friends. I’m not getting paid to say this, these are just my own opinions and observations.

Let’s dive right in, if you aren’t a small business owner then this printer is way overkill. It’s bulky, heavy and you wouldn’t need the extreme workload of this one, so you can go check out my other blog posts!

Color ImageCLASS by Canon

For everyone who stuck around to keep reading, let me get right to it.  This is the Canon ImageCLASS MF624CW.

I chose this one because I needed All-in-One printer, scanner, copier and I also really wanted wireless capability.¬† That’s right, I can check emails on my phone and hit print from my kitchen, bedroom, garage, absolutely anywhere in my house.¬† It’s sooooo handy.

My first impression was that it is a pretty nice looking, and it fits in with my home office decor aesthetic, which was a bonus.¬† After all, this is where I meet with Brides and Grooms-to-be, so it doesn’t hurt that it’s nice looking.

The main paper tray is on the bottom at the front, and above that is a slot for printing labels.

It’s got an easy to use touch screen and simple keypad.

Touch screen and buttons.

Now I’ll show you how to replace the toner cartridges, because it wasn’t in the back where I expected it to be. The toner panel is actually in the front, so you pull down the panel and it opens like this.

Then you squeeze the blue button to pull out the black tray.

Toner replacement release.

The tray pulls out to reveal slots for all of your different colours of toner cartridges.

Here is a cell phone screen shot of the wireless printing app.¬† It’s the only way to print wirelessly, so it would have been nice to put this info in the instructions… but it’s awesome and super simple to use.¬†

Overall, I give the Canon ImageCLASS 4.5 stars. It’s huge, and super heavy or I might have given it a perfect score.

Well darlings, I hope this helps you decide if this is the printer for you!

Wedding Awards – Best Wedding Under $25,000

UPDATE:¬† I’m incredibly honored to have won the award for BEST WEDDING UNDER $25,000!!!¬† Check out the beautiful trophy that was just delivered. (Wish I could have flown to Ontario for the awards banquet, it looked like an amazing event!)¬† Can’t wait to share snaps of the new Birch & Bunny Weddings HQ where I’m clearing a spot for this trophy!
