Thank you for all of your love and support!  2019 was quite a year of wedding planning- maybe one of our very favorite years so far.  We met so many incredible people who have touched our hearts.  My team and I are so fortunate to work with amazing couples and for the wonderful wedding industry community in Calgary.

2019 started out with exciting news that I was being recognized again as an award winning Wedding Planner. I was honoured to be invited to guest speak to three classes, including Event Planning, Project Management, and the WPIC’s next graduating class of Certified Wedding Planners. My designs were also featured in print, for the first ever dedicated Canadian issue of Rocky Mountain Bride!

We also worked with several more wedding venues we’d been excited to work with for a while, and got to return to several more who we’ve loved working with before. My Assistants and I got to design some truly stunning events, and build friendships with many amazing couples!

We wake up each day to one of the radest jobs on the planet, creating experiences and making memories that will last a lifetime.  We love what we do, and cannot wait for what 2020 has in store for us!

You guys! I am so excited to share this incredible news with you. Birch & Bunny Weddings and Events is now on the Durand Bridal preferred vendor list. It’s a great feeling and I’m honoured to have made the cut!

A very special thank you to one amazing human; Leslie Durand for her continued support. She and her crew have taken special care of our Brides for years, including yours truly! I know that will continue to be the case. We are fortunate to have such a caring person as Leslie in our industry.

The anticipation has been killing us, but it’s finally here! That is, the inaugural issue of Rocky Mountain Bride’s new dedicated CANADIAN issue!!! Here are some snaps from the launch party where we celebrated with our Ah-MAZING local industry friends.

How cute are these pretty little mini donuts! … and the copper painted custom cookies? Love them.

Here’s a link to check out the gorgeous photos from our Emerald Lake Lodge styled inspiration shoot. We had a ton of fun, and it turned out super pretty (if we do say so ourselves)!

Shout out to Park Distillery for the sips, and to Pretty Sweet for the treats! Also to the Wedding Study for welcoming us all into your space… and especially thanks to the incredible Celynn of Rocky Mountain Bride magazine. Thanks for all your support and for throwing such a fab fete!

Calgary Bride has just featured the Rose Quartz and Navy Winter Wedding inspiration photo shoot! This is such an honour, because Calgary Bride is a local institution.

We hope you are ready for some cozy outdoor seating and warm fur wraps. It was a lot of fun to style this faux outdoor wedding. Don’t worry, in real life we’d have heaters, tons of blankets, and of course an indoor back up plan in case the temp drops!

I’m just glad that I had a coffee and hot chocolate bar on set for our amazing team of wedding vendors who came out to make this fun creative shoot happen!
